Add support for TargetSupportInstaller

5.4.4p1 as an example doesn't have an Unity editor. Only way to get files for the Linux Native of this specific version is by downloading their TargetSupportInstaller. The installer itself uses NSIS and is easily extractable via p7zip

do you think this generally always works with the TargetSupportInstaller? because it would save a lot of bandwidth to download this small installer than downloading the full editor package

It should be, so far the game I wanted to get working seems to be working fine so far. Only problem is find the list of hex codes and valid links for this. But it should be possible by finding the release notes, and looking at the assistant download links, and they contain those hex codes for specific version.

We copy link to the Mac version for example and have following: https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/84eca32fb10b/MacEditorInstaller/Unity-5.4.4p1.pkg

We need this hex code 84eca32fb10b and we get the following:

I learned about the possibility of making unofficial ports of Unity games to Linux about a year and a half ago when I came across an unofficial Cuphead port. While researching how to do it, I discovered Unify and also this Russian forum; I was surprised that neither had been mentioned in the other until now. In this forum, a user showed that it's possible to use the URL https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/BUILDHASH/unity-win.ini to obtain the information of a Unity build and then extract the URL from the Linux session. With this method, I managed to download Unity 5.6.6f2 used in the Inside version for Mac, which is not possible to obtain using either Unify or Unity Hub itself. Unfortunately, my port didn't work; the Player complains about the globalgamemanagers file being corrupted, the executable starts filling up RAM until the system kills it. I also tried porting build 5835756 of the game made for Windows, which uses Unity 5.0.4f1 and also has OpenGL enabled. In this case, the player doesn't complain about the globalgamemanagers file because it doesn't even exist in this version, and it doesn't crash, but it continuously stays on a black screen with "trial version" written in the lower right corner.
