After some digging it is known that Timberborn Update 1 works (MacOS version). What about the currently latest version, does anyone own this game?

I checked up on the latest version, it seems to be now built with Metal API only if we talk about MacOS version

There were no errors so far from what I have seen, but UI had nothing written

nearly all lines are about DllNotFoundException: BCrypt.dll, so it looks like it is stuck because of that missing library.

few random thoughts what could be done are

• bcrypt is windows specific, it should not be used on mac, so maybe its possible to copy the shaders from the windows version to the mac version
• Maybe there exists some reimplementation in wine/reactos that could help to build the needed functionality.
• Depending on whats needed for the game, a partial implementation could work. In the logs, it looks for the function BCryptGenRandom, but will most likely do other successive calls to different functions.

This can get very time consuming work, I would also check beforehand for other *.dll files the game may be using that are not freely available to see if its worth to work on the first problem that appears

Thing is Mac isn't built with OpenGL enabled, so I am not really sure if it would be possible to bring the shaders over to the Mac version

The shaders should be in the files "unity_builtin_extra", "globalgamemanagers.assets", "resources.assets", sometimes also in more files. You could try to take them from windows version and replace in the mac version (and create backups before to not get confused).
Then you can also copy and replace the file globalgamemanagers which specifies the supported graphics apis and then try to run the game.
From the outputs you posted, it seems your both installations use slightly different unity versions 6000.1.12f1 vs 6000.1.4f1 and could cause problems but maybe its worth a try.

Tested on more up-to-date version. It seems to not really work out. Had to force opengl to be enabled:
