Improve FMODEL performance

we are not going to upgrade the .NET version just because it seems faster.

you guys are comparing FModel with UE, made by thousands of people, in C++
Fortnite has ~1.5M packages, im well aware loading them all makes the application unresponsive for a few seconds, but once it’s done, it’s done.
Searching is not slow, navigation isn’t either. The thing that can lag after this is opening huge folders and going to them when the current one is far from the targeted one. Basically the TreeView is the issue, it has always been one.

PRs are welcomed if you actually fix an issue but opening a discussion just to say “this runs bad, it has not been tested for fortnite” implicitly suggesting “fix it, thank you, bye” is wild.

a documentation on how this library works would shortcut others learning of the library and promotes contribution

specifically how the pak files are decrypted step by step

as a lay man in datamining pak files I have no clue and it seems to me like we have a holy cult of a few people that actually know exactly how stuff works

and ofc just like they learned we must too, but you guys have done the learning and guides actually help

Couldn’t agree more, but documenting takes time and it’s not fun time.

Anyway, I don’t think the library is to blame here, although it has its own performance issues, unresponsiveness of the application is related to the application

yeah docs could help, but could also learn from the code itself, like run in debug mode and place few breakpoints in pak/utoc reading methods, it's actually straightforward
