Query/Question

We have a customer report where their users can't acquire a token with a cryptic error:

[WamBroker] AcquireTokenInteractive - login hint provided? False

True MSAL 4.47.1.0 MSAL.Desktop 4.8 or later Windows 10 Enterprise [2025-02-11 21:12:44Z] [WamBroker] Could not login interactively. Status: Unexpected

Context: Unexpected exception while waiting for accounts control to finish: '(pii)'

I couldn't find any open issue on Github about this nor does a web search bring up anything obvious about how MSAL could be blocked with 0x80070520 "A specified login session does not exist". The customer didn't experience this error with earlier versions of our app using older MSAL or ADAL. Is there any guidance we can give the customer to unblock?

@shueybubbles MSAL version 4.47.1 is more than 2 yrs old version at this time. Could you please try with the latest version and if you still have issue, please share code snippet.

@ashok672 I am not in a position to upgrade the library and give our app to the customers that reproduce the issue. I can't reproduce it myself.
