I came across this issue [Calculator Plugin] Alternative Expression for Exponents, Support for Modulo/Floor Division, etc #4078 and the request regarding moving the result to the top bar when hitting TAB [Calculator tweak #4063].

For the first one, I'd love to contribute by adding support for expressions like ** for exponents, // for floor division, and % for modulo, which are common in programming. These features would make the calculator more versatile for users familiar with these operators.

Additionally, for the second issue, the idea of moving the result to the top bar when hitting TAB sounds really useful. This functionality would allow users to perform subsequent calculations more easily without re-entering the previous result. It definitely seems like a great feature to enhance the workflow.

I’d be excited to work on both tasks if they’re available. Please let me know if I can be assigned to one or both of these features.

Hi @Peter2552, both features are good additions, please go ahead with both.

Please note, if I remember correctly, the first feature may require you to make the actual changes to the external library the plugin uses to execute the calculations.
