I have a server with multiple network interfaces. I want to be able to disable those that are not in use and they should stay disabled until this setting is changed.
This was particularly relevant with a server that had a thunderbolt interface as it was assigned a random IP by default so the system treated it as UP all the time. Had to disable it from the CLI and then all fine, but the ability to manage through the UI seems like a good feature for a NAS focused OS.
