Related problems
If two users are editing the same sequence at the same time, only edits made by the last user to hit "save" are saved. This can lead to users accidentally overwriting work done by other users without realizing.
Describe the feature request
Some features that could help with this are:
- Warning pop-up any time a user tries to save when another user(s) has the same sequence open
- Display in UI somewhere that other users have sequence open while editing
- Auto-save feature
- (long term) merge capability for multiple edits upon save
Of these, the first one (or two) feel like they could be easy enough to address the issue quickly, and the other two can be worked on longer term.
