When starting the electron app i had this issue after moving to 2.0.2

i've fixed the issue by modifying the nativephp/electron/package.json from
"name": "nativephp",
"version": "v2",

to

"name": "nativephp",
"version": "2.0.0",

What happened?

Error: App version is not a valid semver version: "v2"

I am having similar issue as well. I have fixed it by changing version in nativephp/electron/package.json file. v2 to 2.0.0 Upgrade guide should include this.

Hi, the package.json file should be patched to reflect your own app name & version before running any npm scripts.

The fact you see this might point to something else that’s not working right. I’ll investigate 👍

Did you run native:install before running the app?

@gwleuverink , Yes, I run native:install which prompted

Today, I tried selecting No, and it worked without any errors. I have no idea what the first option actually does. I also noticed that if I select Yes to publish the Electron project, I later get a file_put_contents permission denied error when installing newly created build for the desktop application. For now, I am not publishing the Electron project and just trying to create a build. Let’s see how it goes.
