new windows 11 pc cannot access blogger with OLW

i had to purchase a new pc-only choice now is windows 11. tried to install OLW and at signin gor blogger blog get:

"This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account."

ai explains "can't use Open Live Writer with your Blogger account because Google has deprecated access for apps that don't meet their updated OAuth standards (security protocols). Open Live Writer has not been updated to comply with these newer standards, and Google now blocks it from accessing Blogger."

"As of February 2021, Google started enforcing OAuth 2.0 policies more strictly for apps accessing Google services (like Blogger). Open Live Writer uses outdated authorization methods, so:

I hope against all hope that someone is still working on oLW and can update to comply with google's OAuth 2.0.
