While working in PowerShell inside Cursor, attempting to recall command history (using the Up Arrow) immediately after initializing a new project results in a PSReadLine crash with System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException related to console cursor position.
Environment data
OS: Windows
Shell: PowerShell running inside Cursor IDE’s integrated terminal
Terminal Host: Cursor IDE Terminal
Reproducible: Yes — occurs consistently in Cursor TerminalSteps to reproduce
Open Cursor IDE.
Open the integrated terminal (PowerShell).
Navigate to a folder:
cd D:\Thols\github
Run a project initialization command:
uv init projectname
After the command finishes, press Up Arrow.
Expected behavior
The Up Arrow should recall the previous command as normal.
Actual behavior
PSReadLine throws an exception:
