Documentation: Add clearer onboarding steps for first-time contributors #677

Description of the bug
The onboarding instructions in start-here are helpful but could be more detailed for absolute beginners. New contributors may find it confusing to set up their first pull request without additional guidance.
Proposed Enhancements
- Add a step-by-step guide (with screenshots) on how to fork the repo, clone locally, and create a branch.
- Include a small demo contribution example (e.g., adding yourself to a contributors.md file).
- Link to Git/GitHub basics for those new to open-source.
- Add a "common mistakes" section to reduce repetitive questions.

- Reduced friction and repetitive queries for maintainers.
