Add tests

How would you add tests? My issue is the it's not a package that I can import from in a test file. What's the workaround?

I had the same question. Here is a working solution.

Add this to your pyproject.toml:

# ...
[pytest]
pythonpath = "."

Project structure:

│       ├── __init__.py

Notice the __init__.py files within tests directories.

Within any test_*.py file you should be able to import like:

from app.main import app

It would be nice if this were covered in this sample project
