Can't capture profile if Private Browsing window open.

I can understand why this is the default, however it'd be great if there was a an "override" that was easily to find.

use case: I use a private browsing window to have 2nd account signed in (e.g. github). I can't capture any data because of that.

I understand your frustration, and maybe there should be a way to override this. But couldn't you use container tabs for your use case? They seem like the more appropriate tool for the job.

That only works on nightly afaik - I've been known to run beta from time to time. :)

I wasn't aware containers did the "auto purge" of all cookies, etc. that private browsing does. My '2nd' accounts tend to be those with extra privilege that I don't want to leave logged in "too long". I've been meaning to look into containers anyway, so this may be the tipping point.

Oh, they don't do auto purging as far as I know. And you're right, they only work in Nightly. But if you're profiling, you should be profiling Nightly because Beta won't give you complete C++ callstacks.
