ERR_UNSUPPORTED_ESM_URL_SCHEME

Been working on a react native app using re.pack by callstack on my windows computer, but always met with this error after running npnm start: "Error [ERR_UNSUPPORTED_ESM_URL_SCHEME]: Only URLs with a scheme in: file, data, and node are supported by the default ESM loader. On Windows, absolute paths must be valid file:// URLs. Received protocol 'c:' at throwIfUnsupportedURLScheme (node:internal/modules/esm/load:187:11)" anyone knows how to resolve this? Willing to pay too, if required.
