What would be needed to make rethink-app work with ByeDPIAndroid through their SOCKS5 proxy? #1991

Since the default DPI circumvention for rethink-app isn't sufficient for my region, I would like to use ByeDPIAndroid's SOCKS5 proxy mode and forward all requests there. But for some reason, this method has serious issues and none of the ByeDPI configurations really work unlike the VPN mode which works perfectly. Could the default SNI bypassing method be the reason behind is, or something else? Thanks in advance. |

What techniques from ByeDPI work for you? We can attempt to import those to Rethink (well, firestack), if those techniques don't require root.
Strange. Perhaps a query for folks at ByeDPI. Rethink, if set up to forward connections to a (local or remote) SOCKS5 endpoint, will do so.
You mean the splitting of TLS ClientHello could be tripping ByeDPIAndroid? Possible. In |

I have great news! To check for
v55r, I've looked at the github releases and realized I'm onv55owhich was the latest built I got from F-Droid, so I decided to installv55q. To my surprise...Not only is ByeDPI working as a proxy now, the built in censorship circumvention methods work as well! I can finally use this app, thank you so much!!!! 😄
I will mark this as answered.
