hey there @bashbunni

its rather complicated to use gradients on any third party components that accept a colour interface because there is no hook that allows the colour increment steps while the render is occurring on borders for example.

it would be fairly rare for a UI to look good with solid coloured borders and gradient text. subsequently users have to create an entire workflow to build components that take advantage of gradient styles and dont receive the benefit of the optimized lipgloss border rendering.

Just want to add, such first-class support could then enable it with gum too, which is what I wanted in my case
