viewport setting question

Hello, I'm trying this tool out and i have a question. the playblast captures differently to the viewport setting, ie ignores lighting and uses texture mode even thought i'm set to shader mode. is there away to control the settings or force the tool to capture exactly what i'm seeing in my viewport?
