Red Shield on Bridged Space conversations

Steps to reproduce

1. I updated from 1.6.40 to 1.6.42 in the Google play store
2. This is happening in conversations that use Mautrix bridges and are encrypted (Signal, Meta)
3. I am using my own Matrix server - no other updates were made besides the last app update

Outcome

When I updated from 1.6.40 to 1.6.42 I did not expect this red shield to reappear, I assumed this was a problem with the bridge, not the app.

In older versions, I can't remember how old, conversations that utilize a bridge bot (e.g. signalbot), there was a red shield adjacent to the user's profile picture in every message that was sent. At some point this shield disappeared

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled version 1.6.40 and the conversations that had the red shield, the shield turned grey, and then when new chats arrived it again disappeared. I can send phone logs but I don't think this will pop up in the logs.

After reverting to 1.6.40, the grey shields remained on the conversations that formerly had red shields but then new messages had nothing:

I understand the warning from the red shields, but this is from the signalbot, that can't verify the chat, and this warning was missing for months, it would be great if this could be removed again, or the option to remove it from chats.

This is likely a bug in the bridge that you are using; please report it to the maintainers of that bridge.

The fact that the red shield was not shown on the previous version of the application was a security problem: GHSA-x958-rvg6-956w
