Same error with cargo install cargo-php --locked

It used to work fine. It broke when I've added quite a few methods.

Can you try if it works with a simple test project?

If it does maybe try to identify which change in your project broke it.

The culprit:

use mimalloc::MiMalloc;
#[global_allocator]
static GLOBAL: MiMalloc = MiMalloc;

Adding #[cfg(not(debug_assertions))] fixed the issue.

@Xenira yup. Might be a doc issue, though. Docs should mention that usage of a non-standard allocator breaks cargo php stubs.
