Missing photometric interpretation transparency mask ?

Hi,

I have a geotiff that was generated by GDAL and when I try to read it with readRGB I see that TransparencyMask flag is detected but there is no logic to handle this flag.

It is something missing in the library or a bad generation of the Geotiff ?
