Has the library cache lifetime?

Hello,
I'm using version 2.3.5

$kernel->init([
            'debug' => false,
            'appDir' => 'appDir',
            'cacheDir' => 'goaop',
            'includePaths' => self::getDirectories(),
        ]);

My question is whether generated proxies has any lifetime? Is there any option that this method self::getDirectories() will be invoked any more time after proxies are generated? for example when any caches will expire? (I don't know if you have them) or I can put anything in includePaths after proxies are generated and don't think about it anymore.
