@opensource21 thanks for your contributions so far. Could you respond to my PR at opensource21/jpencconverter#2 ? I'm hoping it's an easy merge, with almost no effort required. If you don't have time to continue maintence/support of https://github.com/opensource21/ , I would recommend marking the github repo as archived to make it clear. I went ahead and updated the bug opensource21/jpencconverter#5 with a link my documentation on the format, for the Python implementation at https://github.com/clach04/jenc-py - I hope it is bug-free 😉 |

It's now 5 years ago that I implemented the encryption part in markor. 3 years ago I switched to iOS. This makes it difficult for me to test markor and to do further development. After 5 years it's perhaps a good idea to check if the encryption standards I used are up-to-date.
So I would recommend to search for someone who commit to maintenance this part or otherwise make a warning that this part isn't developed anymore.
Thanks to @gsantner for his great work over such a long time.
