Below we have detailed all of the research we intend to perform during the 2022 TWE Internship.

Mentor Intake Survey	To assess mentor knowledge of internship post-onboarding, as well as to determine what gaps in knowledge, perceived challenges, or barriers mentors experienced post-onboarding.	5-10 min	Once	Day of Onboarding
Mentor Exit Survey	To determine whether mentors' perceptions of themselves as mentors changed over the course of the internship, as well as to determine how their mentorship experience might be improved for future internships.	5-10 min	Once	Day of Offboarding
Interviews
Mentor Intake Interview	To gain further insights into mentors' background, expectations, and mentorship style.	30-45 min	Once	TBD
Mentor Exit Interview	To gain further insights into mentors' experiences in being a mentor, as well as to determine how the internship mentorship process could be improved in future years.	30-45 min	Once	TBD
