add instrucstion to re-locate app ?

currently the app runs on "http://localhost:8080".
Often I want to relocate apps to run on "http://localhost:8080/my-app".

I tried to do this, but was not able to do so., too many moving pieces.
Maybe we could have some instructions somewhere
