Doesn't seem to work under tmux

Inside tmux screen plugin stops working, buttons seem to be stuck, and clicking them does nothing.
Stuck meaning if outside tmux I was in dir /x/y inside tmux it still shows /x/y even if I've navigated away.

Any ideas?

I'm running tmux inside a vagrant box (centos7).

I'm having the same issue, fwiw. For me, the plugin works correctly inside of local tmux on my local machine and also works correctly in a tmux window launched from a remote machine to which I'm connected over ssh. However, if I use nested tmux windows- i.e. from a local tmux window ssh onto a remote machine and attach to a tmux session- then the plugin's functionality is preserved correctly, but the icons are missing- just have vanilla F1, F2, F3 keys, etc. I have the same issue if I ssh from local tmux w/o connecting to a tmux session on the remote machine.
