What kind of handoff items should we be working on to make sure we're not leaving any headaches for Alex?

IPNS reprovide --- PR has been open for a while: feat!: add ipns reproviding/republishing #764. some updates after fix: avoid wasteful reprovides outside threshold libp2p/js-libp2p#3238
js-libp2p streams migration - we talked about this last time, 2025-08-14 Helia WG #841, but catching Daniel up a bit and giving him the space to ask questions and understand the changes
- streams don't add to microtask/async queue in nodejs lifecycle.. they're syncronous and use callbacks that are executed immediately.
- why did we move from streaming originally? could not find a good reason.. no proof or code in earlier issues in js-libp2p that proved streams were causing issues..
- "error handling" with streams were rough.. it still is, but there's a pipeline function now, and a lot of improvements in nodejs make them much easier to work with.. more native API now that supports using streams
