  • Need to extend the https://github.com/ipfs/js-ipfs-unixfs/blob/7f15bafe6d9efc58a42eeb26ec5165c332493927/packages/ipfs-unixfs-exporter/src/index.ts#L329C18-L329C34 type to include type which we should know.. then verified fetch can handle appropriately
  • Maybe a callout here to add Omit<Options, 'extended'> to walkPath and result to be never if extended: false is passed.
  • First Principles: extended: false should only be used for fs.ls to prevent fetching all the blocks for all the children.
  • investigate where extended: false might be needed and prevent where unhelpful.
