Testing on rpi is really painful, indeed. We've been looking for solutions to speed things up too (e.g. something like https://jetkvm.com/). Maybe you can try with a KVM if it's worth the cost and effort. |

Or would those instructions also work for Hyper-V Manager on my laptop? I'm trying to shorten the time of testing.
Right now my process is: Build in cloud for Rpi4 -> Download img -> eject sd card -> burn sd card -> load sd card -> wait and see
( building in cloud because Rancher Desktop/WSL2 doesn't easily support ARM64 workloads on AMD64 host )
edit: I did try the generic amd64 iso, but that did not boot
