Can LLM be removed from MCP server and replaced with LLM from MCP client

I have LLM configured in the MCP client. Can it be used only to control the browser in MCP server without the need for additional LLM?

Yes it can be and can be implemented through sampling - it essentially enables the server to trigger a prompt through the client.

For this, the client needs to support sampling as well (see here and here) - the Claude Desktop client, for example, currently doesn't support it.
