Missing IP address in email in Digest emails

After updading to lates master (for me it is d8b00f4, v2.3) (before I was on v1.8).

I am not seeing IP adress any more.

Does not any one else have that error?

Check to see if you have an updated database structure: php -f utils/database_admin.php status

Are the IP addresses displayed in the web interface for the same period?

Ha, no. Strange. All my IPs are full values, not encoded. It was my initial problem. For some reason addresses are written to the database as full IP and not as hex. I already reported that error about 2 years ago. I must be installed the scrip incorrectly or what.

So even if data is saved in HEX format, the schema for the column is wrong.

I don't know. It could be a php problem or a database problem.

To check out php, execute the following php code: echo inet_ntop(inet_pton("ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff")); it must return the same string: "ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff";

Then you can check your database by creating a temporary table with varbinary(16) field, encode ip, save, read, decode and compare.

Unfortunately, I don't remember why I chose this particular version. Perhaps the problem is not with the database but with the PDO module.
