Difficult to navigate and find contributor friendly issues through Github Issues

Hey Firefox team,

I have found it inherently difficult to find issues that are still open. What I have seen that many of the issues are not closed even though they are already been fixed and have a merged PR linked with them.

Also, the label Contributor Fix is a bit confusing. Shouldn't we close the issues if they have already been fixed.

Hi @aarifsumra thanks for bringing this up.

I suggest having a look on the Contributing guidelines there we added the steps on how to find a ticket to be worked. Please let me know if we could make the guidelines better or any feedbacks to enhance the way contributors ticket are handled.

Regarding closing the tickets, that is done later, since after the developer merges the fix we leave the ticket open for QA team to review. After QA gives green light, then the ticket is closed.
