OpAmp Support for Java Agent

Are there any plans of managing/configuring OTEL Java agent via OpAMP protocol (similar to OTEL collector) ?

For Java Agent, certain remote configuration (like Sampling - JaegerRemoteSampler and more in future) is extremely important and it would be nice to be managed via same protocol.

There is definitely interest in using OpAmp for managing the agent configuration. Since we rely on contributions from individuals and organizations for such features we can not provide a time frame of when or whether this functionality will be implemented in the agent.
