Since Opensearch Data Prepper support Opensearch data streams [(https://github.com/opensearch-project/data-prepper/pull/6249)], the documentation should mention that indices:admin/data_stream/get permission should be granted to the user in order to be able to detect that the target index is a data sream.

Version: List the OpenSearch version to which this issue applies, e.g. 2.14, 2.12--2.14, or all.
