Pass on "last seen" information between peers?

From a user point of view it's weird to have devices show up as "never seen" just because they haven't been online since I joined the document. Intuitively this information should passed on between peers, and the status reflects our collective knowledge, rather than whether my device was literally connected to that device in the past.
