Missing row in cache keyed by `text[]`

Some percentage of the time, when querying a cache with multiple rows matching a text[] column key, one will be indefinitely missing (i.e. waiting longer/retrying more does not change anything).

I haven't been able to reproduce this on the command line, but an automated test can hit this. If it could be repro'd manually, it would look something like this:

To actually repro it, you can use a regression test like this in public/readyset-psql/tests/types.rs:

Numerous factors can increase or decrease the likelihood of hitting this:

• Running the test with DurabilityMode::DeleteOnExit makes it substantially more likely, but it will repro with DurabilityMode::Memory as well.
• I have seen it repro with as few as 292 single-byte strings in each array, but more items per array makes it more likely.
• I have also seen it repro with as few as 100 ten-byte strings, and again more strings makes it more likely.
• I have seen it repro with as few as 13 matching rows, and increasing the number of matches also seems to make it more likely to repro.

There are also some configurations of larger arbitrary text generated by the round trip proptest which are especially likely to hit this. See attached proptest regression file.

Hey, I am looking to contribute to Readyset. If no one is working on this issue, then I'll try to fix it.

Issue could be due to async execution of the test mentioned and using mutex should solve this.

@mvzink I tried to reproduce this issue multiple times with other large dummy data and different durability modes, but I was not able to reproduce it. I tried going through the code and I do think the flow of code is correct and eventually should return correct size.
Could you share a more probable test which fails.

regression_large_text_array_multiple_matches is pretty much as likely as I could find. It passes in 1-3 seconds probably ~80% of the time, and fails after retrying for 20+ seconds ~20% of the time. I don't think any changes I made increased the probability further than that.

I do wonder if the platform matters; are you on ARM or x86? I am on ARM (Apple silicon), and it would not be that surprising if x86 was immune to this problem or something like that. I could try reproducing on EC2 with x86, but I don't know of any other test case that hits this.
