Description
Why are you participating in Hacktoberfest? Is it your first time? What are you hoping to learn from it, or what have you already learned? We would also love to hear why you chose to participate with the Rocky Linux project. Please keep the content positive!
Note: the audience of our LinkedIn account is academic, has more corporate interests, and engages with longer posts about the greater impact of concepts like open source sustainability, the value of diversity in open source, how to give yourself marketable skills, etc. Can you write something that this demographic will find interesting and useful?
To resolve this issue, follow these steps before the end of October.
- Create a post on your own Linked In account, answering the above questions or otherwise related to Hacktoberfest, and tag the Rocky Linux account @rocky Linux. Use tags #hacktoberfest #rockycommunity
- Review this repository's contributor guide at CONTRIBUTING.md
- Open the document at the following file path: docs/team/community/event-reports/24hacktoberfest.md.
- Add your name and GH handle as a contributor. Also add a link to your post.
- Submit a PR against the development branch. Note that PR # in this issue.
