There are a few pending and open issues with this package especially in regards to security updates. I wanted to know if you would be open on letting me take over as some simple pull requests have been open for many months.

Thank you for using this package and continuing to send over Issues & PRs. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to continue maintaining this package. @leoafarias volunteered to maintain the package going forward. I have added him as a contributor to the repo as well as to the NPM module - https://www.npmjs.com/package/go-npm.
