Will the next version of retrofit ship with OkHTTP 5?

I saw that the OkHTTP dependency version in trunk looks to be 5.3.0. Should we expect the 3.1.0 release or next version to include OkHTTP 5?

For the record, I am interested because OkHTTP 5 should be more compatible with GraalVM. Right now, 4.12.0 causes native image builds to fail. Would be really cool to see if V5 solves that issue.

You don't need to wait. OkHttp 4 and 5 are binary compatible. Just update the OkHttp dependency in your application and everything will continue to work.

But to answer your question directly: yes. However, there are no releases planned at this time.
