Description
I was so pleased to see Repton2 on this emulator and (with the help of quick saves) aimed to achieve a childhood dream to complete Repton 2. Unfortunately there is a bug in this version of the software which means it can not be completed.
In one of worlds (from the transporter, behind the locked diamond on the initial screen) due to the movement of the monster the level can not be completed. The world in question has an open top but no meteors fall. To complete the level you are meant to lure the monster out to the open space, across in to another chamber and crush it with a boulder. The monster chases your location, but when you step across the boundary in to the open space the monster stops following and moves to the bottom of the screen. The monster can be moved to the open space if it kills you on the boundary. In your next life the monster is in the open space and you are the other side of the boundary. A similar issue happens. The monster will chase you if you are in the open space, but as soon as you step across the boundary, it assumes you are at the top of the screen and moves away, instead of following.
I suggest the monsters movements need to be updated to fix this boundary issue. In particular, when Repton and the monster are either side of the boundary.
