Encore v4 (modular, with Babashka support)

Have some ideas for how to start splitting Encore over time to:

1. Reduce dependency size (esp. useful for ClojureScript projects)
2. Better support Babashka
3. Add beginner-oriented docs for parts of the API most useful for a wide audience

This'll be a long-term project, but should be something that I can already start working toward in steps.

Is there a current workaround for using this on Babashka+SCI?

My minimal broken example:

(require '[babashka.deps :as deps])
(deps/add-deps '{:deps {com.taoensso/encore {:mvn/version "3.158.0"}
                        com.taoensso/nippy {:mvn/version "3.6.0"}}})
(require '[clojure.string :as str]
         '[taoensso.encore :as encore])

str ;=> #object[clojure.core$str 0x6ee8a0eb "clojure.core$str@6ee8a0eb"]

Opening a bb nrepl and putting that in will work and show the value of str as shown in the comment. However, evaluating encore throws clojure.lang.ExceptionInfo: Unable to resolve symbol: encore. Subsequently (and presumably for the same underlying reason), actually trying to (require 'taoensso.nippy) throws:

clojure.lang.ExceptionInfo: Unable to resolve symbol: enc/latom
{:type :sci/error, :line 11, :column 16, ... :file "taoensso/nippy/impl.clj", :phase "analysis"}

And naturally tempel etc are affected as well.

So for now is there actually a way of using these libraries on Babashka or is this simply not supported at the moment?

@edenworky Hi Lēctia, there's unfortunately no workaround for this that I'm aware of.

I'll note that even if Encore did support Babashka, there's no guarantee that any particular library (e.g. Tempel) would support Babashka. If I understand correctly Babashka includes a very limited number of Java classes- and it's quite possible that something like Tempel (which depends on a lot of Java crypto classes) may either require a significant amount of tweaking, or would just never work without changes on Babashka's side.
