Response as JSON

I need your tus server to be able to return a json structure in the response. For example, I can perform response.setStatus(422) but along with that code I would like to send it a custom message. It's possible??

My interpretation:
Sending a response in the body is not part of the TUS protocol. Reasons for that are explained in chapter 11 "Responses to Uploads" of the related TUS RFC draft. See https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-httpbis-resumable-upload/ on page 29.
