Support for Non-snap versions

Hi there,
I am using zypper as my package manager and only have version 0.8.5 in my repository. And I was curious, will there be any support for non-snap lnav versions? Or are snaps being strictly maintained?

I don't control the packages in the distributions. I do try to keep the snap up-to-date, though. I also build a statically linked linux executable that probably works most places, it's on the release page:

Gotcha, now will there be a new static executable for every release?
