Update to 2.3.0b1 breaks /api/v2/workout/

Hello,
I realized after I updated to the latest docker version (2.3.0b1) calls to /api/v2/workout/ return a 404.
This is a log entry:

"GET /api/v2/workout/ HTTP/1.0" 404 3008 

The problem occurs on the web app as well as on the ios app.

Server version

2.3.0b1 on docker

Mobile app version

1.8.0 on ios

hi! yes, we did change a lot of the internals recently (#1827). Were you writing to the API directly?

No I am not writing to the API directly. For example the error comes up when I open Workouts in the Training menu. It just shows a blank page.

As you can see the call to the routine/overview returns a 200. But the api call to get the workouts returns a 404.

It also occurs only with the workouts. The weight entries I can still see.

mhh, then it seems you're still getting some older JS files. Can you do a Ctrl + Shift + R in the browser to force reload everything?

Alternatively you can also collect the static files before, just in in case: docker compose exec web python3 manage.py collectstatic

wait, did you say the iOS app was also hitting the wrong endpoints?

I just realized the iOS App does not request the same endpoints. In the iOS App I see my routines and I can also open them. So the problem only happens on the website.

I am experiencing the same issue with the docker install even on the android app. I can log in but the workouts will not load, same on the phone, as well as when trying to add a new workout or trying to look at the exercises list on the phone.

The basic errors i get in the console are :
wger-web-1 | Not Found: /api/v2/exercisebaseinfo/
wger-web-1 | Not Found: /api/v2/workout/

I tried a clean install with nginx in case my caddy setup was interfering with something but the error remains the same.

yes, that's definitely the same problem, all those endpoints are called something different. Have you tried running the collect static command? #1931 (comment)

If you have pulled the latest docker image, the ui should use the new endpoints, but you might have older versions of the js in the browser cache (does this also happen in an incognito window?)

Gave it a try in an incognito window but same result.

Also tried the collectstatic command through bash, here are the results:

that's weird, if you pulled and restarted the containers, you should have the new versions of both frontend and backend. These are also the ones deployed at wger.de and they work fine. Do you also see 2.3.0b1 in https:///software/about-us ?

Correct, shows current version as: Current version 2.3.0b1 .
I'm on a rpi4 perhaps I have to do some extra cleaning to get it working?
I also use Dockge to manage docker stacks.
I tried syncing exercises again but i still get page "not found", everything else seems to work on the website, i clicked and followed all links i could.

Also this is a default install, no changes to compose or env file.
If there's anything i can check or try for you let me know.

you could stop the containers, nuke the volume / folder with the static files and start again. But that's grasping at straws.

when you run docker compose exec web python3 manage.py sync-exercises does it run through or do you get som JSONDecodeError?

No errors except for one exercise missing EN translation. I just checked again and realized i needed to update the wger app on android, i installed it from f-droid and i forgot that it takes a bit longer for the update to show up there.

The android app loads exercises just fine now, only issue remains on the website which i am going to blame on the rpi or my local network.
I intend to move off the sd card to a ssd on my rpi this wekend so I'll do a clean install and see if that fixes it.

I will also try installing wger on my windows docker and see if the same issue persists there which i have a feeling it will not.

There's actually a check so that the mobile app doesn't connect to a server it's not compatible with and show an alert, still need to check what's up with that
