Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:
Playing several videos from dailymotion.com has no sound.

Expected Behavior

Here is a clear and concise description of what was expected to happen:
Have possibility to listen to all the videos on the dailymotion.com website.

Actual Behavior

Some videos have no sound.

Possible Fix

Maybe the "EXT-X-VERSION:7" tag in the manifest.m3u8 file is unknown to Kodi.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Video source: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9qgg9c
2. Used Firefox to find real url of manifest.m3u8
3. Create strm file with this url
4. Launch strm file with kodi File Manager

I created an identical issue on the xbmc repository xbmc/xbmc#27245 (comment)

1. Test with Kodi v21.2-Omega and v22.0a1-Piers:
   Without using InputStream.Adaptive, audio ok but the Dailymotion video stops after fast-forwarding.

2. Test with Kodi v21.2-Omega and v22.0a1-Piers:
   With InputStream.Adaptive, it is possible to fast-forward, but there is no sound.

3. Test with a modified version of Kodi v22.0a1-Piers that adds ffmpeg-8 included in PR #27149 [ffmpeg] Update to ffmpeg 8.0 xbmc#27149 (comment)
   Without using InputStream.Adaptive, the Dailymotion video playback works correctly, as does fast forwarding.

this stream use a single mp4 container for both a/v streams
we already know that this use case doesn't work (so no audio)
it's a feature that hasn't been implemented yet
It's good to have a sample stream to test on
