Global notifications for pending agent-shell prompts

When juggling multiple agent-shell sessions, I have found it convenient to have a global-minor-mode that notifies me via the mode-line when some agent is waiting for a response and provides a quick way to jump to that agent. Here's a working prototype: https://gist.github.com/ultronozm/0abe23ee51f710fe5571c74bce0a02a3. I thought this might be useful to other users of this package. Would be happy to attempt to clean it up (e.g., replacing advice with hooks) and send as a PR if there's interest.

This may be another good candidate for a separate package (I'll be happy to link to it). Mostly to make agent-shell more manageable to maintain. As a separate package, I think it would benefit from the hooks introduced by this other PR? #120

If you're ok with waiting for that PR to settle, we could then implement on top of the hooks added there?

Just found out about knockknock yesterday and immediately wanted to suggest it here for the use of notification hooks -- the modeline indicator sounds cool, too. @ultronozm the Lisp file doesn't say in the comment block, so I wonder whether the effect (of rendering to the modeline) can be separated from the renderer (producing a string) so that the output can be directed into the tab bar instead? When I have tab-bar-mode enabled, I see the time of day, as well as "AS:*", in the upper-right corner, on the tab bar (when enabled), using the setting (setopt tab-bar-format '(tab-bar-format-tabs-groups tab-bar-format-align-right tab-bar-format-global)). Is that what you have in mind?
