This PR updates all dependencies to the latest version.
It also migrates to the new module syntax, updates the test syntax to the new test syntax, and fixes deprecation warnings.
Note: In newer versions of Ember Data,
metadata cannot be read from anything butstore.query(). So I had to adjust the metadata-tests to accomodate this.
