I'm so sorry, but can't merge this - this README is used by our docs and it is not supported by sphinx: https://jupyter-docker-stacks--2244.org.readthedocs.build/en/2244/

To keep assumptions clear: I am not planning to contribute to or co-maintain docker-stacks.
