This PR fixes #7124

Notes for Reviewers

• Added a new news article titled "CNCF honours cloud native pioneers at 2025 community awards" to the Layer5 Newsroom as requested.
• Included full article content, structured with , following the existing news format used across the site.
• Added a subtitle, author, and full frontmatter including:
  • date: 2025-11-22 10:36:05 +0000
  • published: true
  • eurl pointing to the external article
• For thumbnail and darkthumbnail, I temporarily included a sample placeholder image (sample.svg) since no image was provided in the original article. This can be replaced later if an official image becomes available.

Hey @anmolsah I checked the file. The build keeps failing because the frontmatter format doesn't match the expected schema used in Layer 5 news posts.

One more thing the thumbnail being referenced is not imported.

For quotes this site uses < Blockquote /> component instead of raw markdown > formatting. You may want to convert this quote to match the formatting used in other news posts.

my PR build is currently failing, but the error is not coming from the file I added. The build log shows that the failure occurs in another page:

/blog/community/meshmate-of-the-year-2020-nikhil-ladha.html.html

The error thrown is:

WebpackError: The style prop expects a mapping from style properties to values, not a string.

This suggests that the issue is coming from an inline style or a JSX parsing problem inside that older blog file, not from the new article I submitted.

Could you please take a look at that file? It seems to be affecting all new PR builds.
