There was a problem hiding this comment.
This makes me sad that we can't figure out why with one test seed, -Dtests.seed=981EF1993B3C85B5 it fails, and with -Dtests.seed=981EF1993B3C85B6 it passes. We've manually tested, and put quite a few hours into this. So let's comment it as a flaky test.
