A build issue was introduced on the wiregard-linux-compat codebase.
The fix has been requested for a merge on the project repository
WireGuard/wireguard-linux-compat#5

Waiting it to be merged, a patch was added to this project to locally
fix the problem

Thanks for making this. Preferably I'd like to see this handled on the upstream, but if there is no activity within 2 weeks or so ping me and we'll merge this. For now people with this issue can at least checkout this branch as a workaround.
